If you think about the many challenges our country faces, it’s no surprise that Ad Council’s campaigns continue to be a source of hope and support for those most in need. Since our founding, the Ad Council’s mission has remained the same: To seek out the nation’s most pressing social problems and inspire change through public service communications. This year we did just that. We inspired Americans to give to local food banks, guided students struggling to graduate from high school and apply to college, and inspired parents and their children to adopt healthy eating habits and get moving.
And we couldn’t do what we do, year after year, without the incredible support of the media. Their belief in Ad Council campaigns have helped us garner a total of 123.4 billion media impressions in 2010 and successfully reach so many Americans with our important messages.
Yet — as I’ve said many times — there’s still more to do.
That’s why we remain so committed and steadfast to our mission. Every year, with your help, we tackle our country’s most critical challenges. Thank you for being there with us and believing in the power of the Ad Council to make a difference in someone’s life.
