Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications
As Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications, Paula oversees internal and external communications for the organization’s more than 50 public service campaigns as well as the Ad Council brand. Led by Paula, the PRISM (public relations, interactive and social media) team works to extend the reach of campaign PSAs into earned, digital and social media, thereby exposing millions more Americans to their critical messages.
In addition to leading PRISM, Paula oversees the organization’s special events, including the annual Public Service Award Dinner which raised more than $3.4 million in 2012.
Since becoming Executive Vice President in 2000, Paula has grown the organization's communications team exponentially, enhancing internal capabilities and expertise to include a robust social and digital program in addition to web development and traditional PR.
Paula has served on numerous boards and committees including The Ad Club of New York's ANDY Committee, The American Cancer Society of New York's Communications and Marketing Advisory Committee, the Advisory Committee of The Strang Cancer Prevention Center's Child Health Initiative and the Harlem Educational Activities Fund (HEAF). Paula is a graduate of Sweet Briar College in Virginia.
She currently resides in New York City Lower East Side with her husband, Dan, and son, Iain.
