Senior Vice President, Group Campaign Director
Michelle Hillman is a Senior Vice President, Group Campaign Director at the Ad Council in Washington DC. In her position, she works with federal government agencies or non-profit organizations and volunteer advertising agencies to guide the strategic and creative development of all communications programs managed by the Ad Council’s Washington DC office.
As Senior Vice President, Ms. Hillman oversees the day-to-day management of over 25 national PSA campaigns, including the U.S. Forest Service’s Wildfire Prevention campaign featuring Smokey Bear, FEMA’s emergency preparedness Ready initiative and the U.S. Department of Transportation’s iconic “Friends Don’t Let Friends Drive Drunk” campaign.
Ms. Hillman joined the Ad Council in 2000 and has held several positions within the organization during her tenure. Most recently, Ms. Hillman served as a Vice President, managing the development of several award-winning campaigns including Save the Children’s Good Goes effort and the Shelter Pet Project developed in partnership with the Humane Society of the United States and Maddie’s Fund.
Ms. Hillman has over 17 years of advertising agency and client experience. Prior to the Ad Council, she was an account supervisor at Doner Advertising managing national brands including Prudential, AARP, Johns Hopkins Medicine and many others.
Ms. Hillman received a B.A. in marketing from the University of Maryland, College Park
