In addition to our own campaigns, the Ad Council reviews campaigns created by nonprofit organizations and agencies. Considered the Ad Council’s “seal of approval,” the Endorsed Campaign program offers organizations a cost effective way to promote their critical messages. Endorsed Campaign status is awarded to PSAs independently produced outside of the Ad Council.
Endorsed Campaigns are featured in our Public Service Advertising Catalog, which is distributed quarterly to more than 20,000 media outlets across the nation, as well as posted on the our website. The Catalog offers excellent campaign exposure to media PSA directors, the first audience for every PSA campaign. In addition, accepted organizations will receive an approval letter indicating our seal of approval which may be used for outreach purposes.
PSAs for Endorsed Campaigns do not bear the Ad Council logo and are not distributed by the Ad Council. This program should be part of an organization's broader marketing efforts to highlight a campaign. We recommend that organizations have additional vehicles in place to promote their campaign.
Organizations interested in the Endorsed Campaign program must meet our selection criteria and complete the application questions.
