College Access

Overview

Young Americans, regardless of income level, want to go to college and recognize it as essential to their future. But despite their high aspirations, many low-income and first-generation students don’t believe college is meant for them. They face obstacles such as affordability, and lack of college-going knowledge, preparation, guidance and encouragement.

This campaign shows students they already possess the skills and determination needed to prepare for college. As the PSAs illustrate, the same vision and focus it takes to achieve goals outside of school - whether conceiving and painting a mural, landing a new skateboarding trick, or otherwise - will help students apply to, and succeed in college.

To learn more about the actual steps needed to take to be prepared for, and ultimately apply to college, audiences are directed to the campaign website www.KnowHow2GO.org.
