Teen Mental Health

Teens today are overwhelmed — by school, social pressure, their digital lives, and by conflicting messages they hear about mental health, both helpful and harmful, which can leave them feeling stuck. At the same time, one thing is true: teens already have countless ways they cope with their feelings and care for their minds, even if they don’t always recognize them.

Zill puts mental health back in teens’ hands by helping them name the everyday actions they take to support their wellbeing. It’s a simple reminder that mental health is something we can impact through our own choices, habits and actions — big and small, on good days and on hard ones. The examples featured in the PSAs reflect real ways teens already care for their minds. By giving a name to these moments, the PSAs highlight that whether it’s a good day, a bad day, or a whatever day, there’s always a moment to zill.
