CHICAGO, IL, May 10, 2022 – This week, the American Lung Association’s LUNG FORCE initiative is celebrating Turquoise Takeover to raise awareness about lung cancer, the nation’s leading cancer killer. As a part of the important observance, the organization, together with the Ad Council and creative agency Hill Holliday, released A Hope Story, a new public service announcement campaign to raise awareness of lifesaving lung cancer screening.

New York, NY, June 15, 2021 – The Ad Council, in collaboration with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), today launched a series of public service announcements (PSAs) emphasizing the importance of mask wearing until you’re vaccinated. The campaign, supported by a grant from The Rockefeller Foundation, is an extension of the national “Mask Up America” campaign, which throughout the pandemic has aimed to increase compliance and acceptance of wearing masks and face coverings as one of the main prevention behaviors in order to slow the spread of COVID-19, and including vaccination, social distancing, and hand washing.

NEW YORK, NY, October 13, 2021 — The Ad Council announced today that its 67th Annual Public Service Award Dinner will honor Verizon Chairman and CEO Hans Vestberg. The event will be both in-person and streamed online, with the in-person gathering held at the Glasshouse in New York City on December 2, 2021. Platinum sponsors include Adobe, Comcast NBCUniversal, Disney Ad Sales, Facebook, Google and Verizon.
