
Catherine Chao
Catherine is a cause-driven researcher and strategist and the vice president of insights and analytics at the Ad Council, the national nonprofit working across advertising, tech, media, marketing and philanthropy to accelerate change around the country’s most pressing issues. In her role, she spearheads audience research, strategic planning and campaign evaluation to tackle critical issues, with a particular focus on improving mental health.
Catherine is committed to centering the voices and mindsets of target audiences to ensure campaigns do more than raise awareness —they ignite meaningful action and behavioral change. With a Master of Public Health from UNC-Chapel Hill, she combines a deep understanding of public health with data driven insights to craft campaigns that resonate and make a lasting impact.
