NEW YORK, NY, September 4, 2025— The Ad Council, America’s leader in using the power of communications to drive social impact at scale, announced today that Jennifer Mamlet is joining the organization as Chief Development Officer. She is returning to the organization, having previously served as SVP of Development until 2012. Most recently, Mamlet was Acting President and CEO of JCC Association of North America.
As Chief Development Officer, Mamlet will lead all corporate and philanthropic giving, forging strategic partnerships and expanding critical funding to power a portfolio of high-impact initiatives tackling some of the most pressing social issues in America — mental health, firearm injury prevention, skills-based hiring and more. In addition to enhancing fundraising efforts, Mamlet will oversee the management of the organization's Board of Directors, a distinguished group of 150 senior-level executives from across the media, advertising, marketing and tech industries that is chaired by Rita Ferro, The Walt Disney Company’s President of Global Advertising.
“We are so thrilled to welcome Jen back to the Ad Council,” said Lisa Sherman, Ad Council President and CEO. “She is bringing with her a deep understanding of our unique business model and two decades of transformative experience in the philanthropic space. Jen’s exceptional leadership and passion for our values and mission will enhance our work and our impact.”
Mamlet has a proven track record of leadership and success in the fundraising space, demonstrating strategic growth, strengthened donor engagement, and high-impact partnership cultivation. Prior to rejoining the Ad Council, Mamlet led the JCC Of Central New Jersey and took on several leadership positions within the JCC Association of North America, including most recently as Acting President and CEO.
“After 13 proud years working in and on behalf of the Jewish community, I’m excited to return home to the Ad Council,” said Mamlet. “There is no other organization that sits so powerfully at the intersection of social impact and storytelling, uniquely able to harness the strength of the media, advertising, and marketing industries to drive meaningful change. It’s truly an honor to return as a member of the leadership team.”
Mamlet holds a B.A. in Sociology and Spanish from Bucknell University, and a Masters of Social Work from Columbia University.
