A private, non-profit organization, the Ad Council partners with other national non-profit organizations as well as federal government agencies to motivate measurable change around significant public issues.
Together, we work with volunteer talent from leading advertising, media, social and digital communications agencies across the country to create campaigns that inspire change and improve lives throughout the U.S.
By leveraging donated media, we make sure our messages reach the widest audience and have the greatest impact. In 2013, we secured $1.64 billion in donated advertising space and airtime on behalf of all of our campaigns, meaning the average Ad Council campaign receives approximately $30 million worth of donated media per year.
The Ad Council creates comprehensive, integrated communication campaigns that may include consumer research, media outreach, mobile content, public relations, public service announcements, school programs, social media, strategic partnership opportunities and website development.
