    New York, NY, June 15, 2021 – The Ad Council, in collaboration with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), today launched a series of public service announcements (PSAs) emphasizing the importance of mask wearing until you’re vaccinated. The campaign, supported by a grant from The Rockefeller Foundation, is an extension of the national “Mask Up America” campaign, which throughout the pandemic has aimed to increase compliance and acceptance of wearing masks and face coverings as one of the main prevention behaviors in order to slow the spread of COVID-19, and including vaccination, social distancing, and hand washing.

The organization’s Board is chaired by Linda Yaccarino, Chairman, Global Advertising and Partnerships, NBCUniversal. Vice Chairs include Jacki Kelley, CEO, dentsu Americas and Diego Scotti, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Verizon.

Thousands of kids start vaping every day, so it's important for parents to have proactive and ongoing conversations about the dangers of trying e-cigarettes.

    The new “You’re the Best Person” PSAs highlight that parents are the best people to talk to their kids about the dangers of using e-cigarettes, and encourages parents to visit TalkAboutVaping.org for resources to help them start the important conversation about vaping with their kids.

    Washington, D.C., June 10, 2021 – Ahead of National Get Outdoors Day on June 12, the USDA Forest Service and the Ad Council today announced new public service advertisements (PSAs) from the Discover the Forest campaign. Since 2009, the Ad Council and USDA Forest Service’s Discover the Forest campaign has encouraged parents and caregivers to take their families out to the forest to experience and reconnect with nature. The new creative work highlights the power of authentic storytelling to showcase the value of the forest as a place where families can deepen their connection with each other and with the outdoors. The PSAs culminate in a singular ask: make the forest part of your family’s story.
