Sometimes Parents Just Don’t Understand! is a virtual educational and interactive town hall moderated by popular comedian and influencer KevOnStage and his wife, Melissa Fredericks.
Speakers include Dr. Regina Miranda and Dr. Alduan Tartt, who provide a foundational understanding of the mental health challenges impacting young people, especially in the faith community, and offer guidance on how to support their mental and social well-being.
The town hall included information on mental health facts, tips, and tools for opening up conversations with children about mental health and feature the Sound It Out campaign Conversation Starter Pack.
